The Education Undergraduate Society is the voice of, and a forum for all undergraduate members in McGill University’s Faculty of Education. It is strongly encouraged that all students speak up and make their opinions heard – be it through e-mail, phone, in-person or any other way you can think up! (Smoke signals? Why not!)

EdUS places a supreme value on professional development. Our Career Fair, for example, lets students meet face-to-face with an international assortment of future employers. This method of networking has already led to numerous job placements across the country and abroad, and is sure to result in more success stories with every passing year.

We at EdUS also pride ourselves on our commitment to partying; providing our students with regularly occurring lunches, shindigs, get-togethers, jamborees, and holiday and non-holiday themed events. Our annual Graduation Ball is a celebration of everything each student has achieved in the successful completion of his or her degree, including resilience in the face of the steep climb up McTavish Street.

EdUS holds regular meetings, typically on a semimonthly basis (i.e. occurring twice a month). Attendance is open to all members of the faculty; however it is asked that students who want to attend inform EdUS by e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) at least three (3) days in advance, due to space and time constrictions.

Positions with EdUS are voluntarily filled by students from the Faculty of Education. (Tips welcome.)
